CHILEAN WINES The most popular imported wines to such an extent that almost any grocery has got several "Gato Negro"s for sale. Three reasons for this success : 1) The availability of kosher versions, 2) The good quality/price ratio, 3) Some of them are imported by large scale importers well introduced within the mass-distribution circuit. There's some awful stuff in the ones below. Most of them are pleasing for a modest $6. Not the kind I would propose with my best cooking, but while sitting in front of this computer with a cancer-stick, why not ? With a budget of a little more than $10, it's possible to find some more serious options. Not the big thrill but fine enough for a picnic or a family dinner.
